Bulk freight shipping
Bulk freight, or bulk cargo, is cargo shipped loosely and unpackaged as opposed to being shipped in packages or containers.
Bulk cargo can be broken into several categories: free flowing, liquid or dry cargo.
Examples of cargo types frequently classified as bulk freight are:
- Minerals, cements, ores and scrap.
- Agrigultural and livestock products, such as fertilizer, feed and pellets.
- Food products, such as flour, sugar, rice, corn and refridgerated goods
